Details
The
small market town of Wincanton was once a main coaching stop on the
route from London to Plymouth, being situated approximately half way
between the two. Today it
lies just off the A303 and is a convenient place for holiday makers to
break their journey from London to Cornwall. Wincanton Country Market is situated in the Dolphin Hotel function room and can be approached from either the High Street (through the arch) or the Memorial Hall car park. It
is open from 9am to 12 midday every Friday except Good Friday (when
it is held on Maundy Thursday) and the 2 Fridays after Christmas. As with all Country Markets, we aim to provide top quality fresh local produce at competitive prices. The

Christmas approaches, we have a good range of seasonal cooking including
Christmas cakes & puddings in various sizes, mince meat, mince pies
etc, plus seasonal greenery. At
Easter we have simnel cakes, hot cross buns, Easter cookies etc. Orders
