Further Details

The small market town of Wincanton was once a main coaching stop on the route from London to Plymouth, being situated approximately half way between the two.  Today it lies just off the A303 and is a convenient place for holiday makers to break their journey from London to Cornwall.
The best of Wincanton
The weather today in Wincanton

"Wincanton Country Market is held in the light and airy surroundings of the Balsam Centre Healthy Living Centre. There is easy pedestrian and disabled access from the High Street (through the arch next to the Wincanton Cobbler), and the Memorial Hall car parks where there is plenty of convenient parking."

It is open from 8.30 am to 11.30 am every Friday except Good Friday (when it is held on Maundy Thursday) and the 2 Fridays after Christmas.

As with all Country Markets, we aim to provide top quality fresh local produce at competitive prices.

“This market participates in our Hamper Scheme”.
