Quaker Meeting House, Bancks Steet, Minehead  TA24 5DJ
Closed: for the first 2 Fridays in January

We are a member of the Hamper Scheme; and Orders can be placed
(By Wednesday A.M. latest)  by contacting either 01643 705291 or 01643 703754, 
(NO answerphone messages accepted) to be collected at Market.

ABOUT MINEHEAD

The seaside resort of Minehead has been popular since the 1850's and today tourism employs 60% of the local workforce.  The main shopping area of the town is The Avenue and the Country Market is to be found in Bancks Street, a small side turning off this main thoroughfare.  Situated as it is, Minehead is known as "The Gateway to Exmoor" and is an ideal location for those seeking the beauty and solitude of the unique Exmoor countryside. 
  
MEMBERS
Minehead Market currently has some 60 members from whom the Committee is elected etc.  The present Committee consists of a Chairman, Vic-Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Market Manager and two other members.  
They are all active producers and have been associated with the Market for many years.

Cakes, Fruit Pies, Desserts, Savouries and Meat Pies, Jams, Marmalades & Chutneys
Honey & Honey products, Crafts & Cards, Seasonal Plants, Vegetables & Fruit, Free-range Eggs
